Philosophy

Based on the spirit of our School of Medicine 'Wisdom, Valor, and Benevolence'
  • We provide healthcare of high quality that contributes to the health of the people.
  • We nurture healthcare practitioners who are spiritually rich and are trusted.
  • We will continue to make persistent effort for the progress of healthcare.

Advanced treatment hospital

We are certified as an 'advanced treatment hospital' in accordance with the Medical Service Act by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and have advanced medical care functions.
As an 'advanced treatment hospital', we have the role of providing medical care to patients requiring highly-specialized medical care, with a focus on acute-phase treatment. To fulfil our role, we provide medical care by working with healthcare providers in the region.

Have your own personal physician

Our Hospital provides specialized tests and treatments through referrals from primary care doctors. Bringing your letter of referral will enable us to understand your medical condition, test results, and medication so that you can receive treatment smoothly.
Patients whose conditions have stabilized and those who have transitioned to recovery after receiving treatment at our Hospital have their medical conditions observed and medication administered by other hospitals or their referring primary care physicians. If you do not have a family physician, we advise you to find one near your home.

Role as an educational establishment

As a hospital attached to a university's school of medicine, we function as an establishment for providing clinical pathology for medical and nursing students, post graduate training for doctors, and research and development of medical technology. Student teaching is conducted under the supervision of the teachers of the school of medicine (attending) and teachers of nursing.
